NOTES ON “CAMP” & ZULEIKA DOBSON

Publication
Spring 2024

Advised by Min Hee Lee for Typography II @ RISD.

A hybrid book blending the texts of Susan Sontag’s essay Notes on “Camp” and Max Beerbohm’s satirical novel Zuleika Dobson. Through the lens of camp, this project seeks to find an answer as to what constitutes tasteful design. Black and white toner printed on neon pink, yellow, white and metallic silver paper. French fold with laminated cover, spiral bound in neon yellow. Typeset in Arial, Charm, Crayonette, and Puntino Star for a delightfully uncomfortable reading experience.

Featured on Contemporary Type.
