BETTER WORLD BY DESIGN: “KNOTS”

Identity
Fall 2024

With Hannah Jeong, Neat Rodanant, & William He @ Better World by Design.

Better World by Design is a student-led initiative at Brown University & Rhode Island School of Design that hosts an annual design conference, bringing in speakers across all disciplines of design to speak about their work.

As Design Lead, I led a team of four to visualise the 2024 theme of “Knots”. This involved project management, art direction, as well as producing deliverables across print and digital. Taking inspiration from textile patterning and the mix of bright and neutral colours found in paracord designs, we crafted an identity that was applied to posters, social media graphics, signage, merch, and a website. Typeset in Selfie Neue Round and Neue Haas Grotesk.
